School Rules

  • Reach the campus 10 minutes early everyday. The school gate will be shut after the stipulated time.
  • The children coming late to school will be given warnings through the diary. At the third warning if the student comes late he/she will be sent back home and will be marked absent for the day.
  • YOU MUST CONVERSE IN ENGLISH WITH YOUR TEACHERS AS WELL AS YOUR PEERS.
  • Do not touch or damage the school’s plants, flowers, furniture, walls or any other school property.
  • Contribute towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and do not litter in the school.
  • Follow the keep left rule while working in the corridors.
  • You must walk in proper posture and queue. Also, make sure to fold your hands at the back.
  • Do not bring any poly bag in the school campus.
  • Don't walk while walking in the school campus.
  • Avoid freaking out during school hours.
  • Give priorities to punctuality.
  • It is mandatory for you to carry out pass whenever you move out of the class.
  • Students are not allowed to wear any ornaments, expensive watches or to bring any valuable articles to school.
  • The school will not be responsible for the loss of any such article brought by the students.
  • Climbing stairs is healthy so, avoid using lift.
  • The school is under electronic surveillance so don’t indulge in any offensive activities.
  • Mobile phones or any type of electronic gadgets are totally banned in the school.
  • The students, who habitually keep indulging in cheating, theft, misbehavior or misconduct despite repeated warnings and constant efforts by the staff to improve their behavior, will be expelled even at the time of Final Examination.
  • Students should go to their respective classes on time. While changing classes, students should maintain corridor discipline.
  • Students should not resort to bullying in the bus or in school.
  • The schools reserves the right to terminate the schooling of the student for unsatisfactory progress in studies or whose conduct is bad percept for others.
  • Students are not allowed to receive any visitor or to make phone call during school hours unless it is very urgent and has the approval of the Principal.
  • Students are not allowed to come by scooter/active/ car or any other own conveyance. However, they can come on bicycle/bus/auto/van or with parents.
  • No student is allowed to go back home in between the school hours.
  • You must come in proper uniform everyday.
  • Uniform should be neat ‘n’ clean and properly ironed.
  • You must wear polished shoes and neat socks specified by the school.
  • Monthly haircut is mandatory for boys.
  • Nails are to be trimmed every week.
  • Shirt buttons should not be kept open and the shirt to be tucked in properly.
  • Belts to be worn tightly and visibly.
  • Dyeing of hair or using hair gel is not allowed.
  • Boys should follow the decent hairstyle and the girl students should tie their hair in two braids.
  • No jewellery is to be worn in the school.
  • Wearing uniform during school hours, PTM’s/ B’days (except toddlers) and on excursions is mandatory.
  • Low waist pants are not permitted in the school.
  • Alteration in uniform is strictly prohibited.
  • The school I-card is compulsory for all students.
  • A student must be in school well in time and be ready for the assembly 10 minutes before the assembly.
  • Students are required to go to the assembly in an orderly manner as soon as bell for assembly rings.
  • A respectful silence and order must be maintained during the assembly.
  • It is mandatory for the students to reach the assembly area escorted by their class- Incharge.
  • Students should be attentive, quiet and stand at their allotted places during school assembly.
  • Listen carefully to all announcements and act accordingly.
  • Be sincere during the prayer and National Anthem.
  • Give respect to the students leaders, who are performing their duties and follow the instructions.
  • In case of any illness or injury, student can set in the sick bay during assembly time.
  • After the Assembly, students must silently move in a single line to their classrooms according to the plan.
  • Students must be ready for physical activity, neatness check etc.
  • The to and fro towards the ground must be in proper discipline.
  • Playground is meant to play not to muddle.
  • Use the sports equipments and place them properly in the sports room.
  • In case of any loss or damage to any sports equipment, the student is liable to bear the loss.
  • Avoid using abusive language while playing.
  • Avoid the wet areas of the ground. (if any)
  • In case of any injury or problem, report that teachers on duty.
  • Do not throw any foil paper, wrappers or poly bags. Make use of the dust bins provided in the ground.
  • Be a competitor not a rival.
  • Drink water from the water cooler placed in the ground while going back to your class.
  • Don't smash up with any sports equipment.
  • While in ground be a sportsman not a foe.
  • Read at least one book in each term and make a note of it in the diary.
  • All students of the school are members of the library.
  • Strict discipline and silence should be observed in the library.
  • Library books should be properly looked after and deposited on the due date.
  • However the fine will be levied in case of non deposit of books on time.
  • Marking, Underlining, cutting, erasing or damaging pages of the book is strictly prohibited.
  • Students are not allowed to bring their personal books or belongings to the library.
  • Newspapers and periodicals are meant to be read in the library.
  • Books damaged or lost while in possession will have to be replaced by the borrower, failing which parents will be held liable for the cost of replacement.
  • In case a student loses his/ her library card, the student should report the loss of card immediately to the librarian.
  • New card can be issued on the payment of rupees 50/-.
  • Observe complete silence.
  • You must be prepared with the theory and manipulations of the experiments.
  • Avoid eatables in the laboratory.
  • Do not use and apparatus unless you are trained and approved as a user by your supervisor.
  • Follow the instructions given by the teachers and lab assistant.
  • Stand a step away from the working shelf.
  • Bunsen burners / Spirit Lamps etc. should be put out /switched off before leaving the lab.
  • Be responsible for any breakage or loss of the article used.
  • Report every breakage or loss immediately to the class In-charge.
  • It is mandatory for the senior secondary students to wear the lab coat while experimenting inside the lab.
  • YOUR PERSONAL LABORATORY SAFETY DEPENDS MOSTLY ON YOU.
  • In case of injury or medical emergency, the child can make use of the sick bay provided at the first floor as well as the ground floor.
  • In case of emergency, ring the bell and the doctor will be there to examine you.
  • In case of extremity, first aid will be provided by the school. However, the parents can avail Charitable Hospital facility of our school, if interested.
  • If the child is having any problem, parents are requested to intimate in advance through an application or a diary Note.
  • Parents should see that their wards do not remain absent except under unavoidable circumstances.
  • Regular attendance is a must for the progress of the pupils.
  • Leave on account of illness during exams or otherwise will be granted only if a medical certificate for the same is submitted.
  • Irregular attendance and habitual absence will call for dismissal from the school.
  • Form of Application for Leave should be sanctioned by the authorities before taking a leave.
  • A student who has been suffering from an infectious disease must bring the fitness certificate from the doctor along with leave application on the day of joining.
  • Under no circumstances, the child be allowed to sit in the class, if he/she is suffering from ‘chickenpox’, the child will be allowed only when the dried up scabs fall off completely.
  • Parents should inform the school if the child is suffering from any chronic illness like asthma, epilepsy etc and submit the necessary medical reports for the same.
  • If the child is absent from the school, he /she must make up for all the work missed out by him/ her.
  • In case the child is suffering from Conjunctivitis or Mumps, he/she should not be sent to school till he/she fully recovers.
  • Parent teacher meetings should be utilised as a platform to interact with the teachers to be well informed regarding the academic progress and the behavior of the child.
  • PTM will be held as mentioned in the planner.
  • Always try to reach the P.T.M. venue at the stipulated time mentioned in the gate pass.
  • Entry in the school on P.T.M. days will be given only after showing the P.T.M. gate pass already issued.
  • If any parent is not comfortable with the timing slot, he /she can request for the necessary change by giving a formal application
  • Students coming with Parents must carry diary and must come in school uniform to seek entry inside the school.
  • You are requested to ensure that the b’day celebration of your ward is confined to his /her classmates only and that too on a modest scale.
  • Pre Nursery to 2nd: Children can come in casual clothes.
  • 3rd to 12th: Children have to come in school uniform only.
    •    (a) Send toffees only for the classmates (2 toffees per child).
    •    (b) Eatables like cake, pastry, chocolate, junk food are not allowed.
    •    (c) No child is allowed to roam about in the corridor on the b’day or otherwise.
  • Wish the teachers while passing through corridors.
  • Students should behave with respect and consideration towards all the staff members.
  • In case of disrespect shown towards any of the staff member, strict action will be taken.
  • Greet your teachers whenever you meet them with reverence.
  • Always stand up when your teacher enters the class and again when he/she leaves.
  • Be modest and be grateful towards your teachers.
  • Students should treat the helpers and drivers of the school with courtesy.
  • Students should be encouraged to act responsibly towards the helpers.
  • Students must greet the helpers with respect whenever they meet them.
  • Before withdrawing a student from the school, a calendar month’s notice in writing is to be given by the parent or guardian. However, full fee for the quarter will be charged.
  • TC or any other the document will be issued only if all the dues have been cleared and fee has been paid.
  • The Principal’s decision shall be final in all cases of withdrawal.
  • You are requested to see that your ward remains regular and punctual.
  • You should participate in the teaching and educational process.
  • You should try to create a healthy home-environment.
  • You are requested to respond readily when asked to call by the school authorities and teachers.
  • Children should not be forced to study for longer periods. Private tuition is absolutely forbidden. Self study improves thinking, concentration and confidence in the child.
  • You should see to it that your ward is diligent towards homework.
  • You should insist on neatness and cleanliness in the text books, exercise books and personal demeanour.
  • You should ensure to attend the PTM.
  • Please ensure that your ward carries school bag according to the time table only.
  • Criticism of the teacher or of school in the presence of the child should be strictly avoided.
  • For any concern or complaints meet the authority.
  • Maintain the decorum of your class.
  • Adapt the meditation period seriously.
  • Take permission from the teacher by raising your hand for any query or going out of the class.
  • Make sure to remain updated with your class display boards.
  • Give an attractive look to the green Board of your class.
  • Adhere to the rules of the class and obey the class monitor on duty.
  • There will be head count of the students in the diary period.
  • Don't waste chalk and avoid scribbling on the board.
  • Don't touch the teaching equipments without being asked.
  • Be polite and avoid yelling and abusive language.
  • The students should bring tiffin, napkin, table mat and handkerchief daily.
  • Students will not be allowed to go for drinking water after every period. If in case it is required the students are requested to bring water bottle to the school.
  • Complete the assigned task within stipulated time.
  • Pay attention to every lesson.
  • Make use of pencil while reading the chapter.
  • Don't bully or be bullied by your classmates.
  • Listen and hear only in English.
  • Be diligent and well focused.
  • Be the corner stone of your class and set a trend for others.
  • Smart Board and Other teaching gadgets must not be touched/ damaged. Fine will be levied in case of loss /damage.
